Persevering work under way to achieve El-Eqeela Zaineb Sanctuary

 

The engineering Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine is continuing building El-Eqeela Zaineb Sanctuary. Such a 52,000 square meter project is considered one of the largest ones within the expansion project of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. It will have a vital tunnel, which will facilitate the traffic of the free service vehicles and ambulances.

 

Mohammed Hasan Kadhim, head of the Engineering Department, said the work is still under way, and the project is expected to be completely achieved in 6 years.

 

He added that the project would help manage the traffic of pilgrims and offer them more convenience during pilgrimages.
