Within the project of expanding the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the personnel of the Engineering Department continues the work of expanding the sanctuary that surrounds the Imam Hussein’s lattice-enclosed tomb.
The purpose of expansion is to make more room for the pilgrims to circumambulate the Imam Hussein’s lattice-enclosed tomb.
The project takes 4-5 months to be completely achieved, where other works inside the holy shrine will take less than a year to be achieved.
