The Holy Shrine concludes the first workshop for the (1000) Children’s Playwrights project

Imam Hussain Holy Shrine concluded the first workshop for the (1000) Child Playwrights project in its second season, with the participation of writers from many Iraqi places.

Mohammad al-Hasnawi, the project director, said, "The workshop was attended by 12 writers from various literary, scientific, and media majors who represented five Iraqi governorates (Baghdad, Babylon, Najaf, Maysan, and Karbala) in order to establish a new era of writers who create a solid society by taking care of children."

Al-Hasnawi added, "The workshop lasted for five consecutive days and included discussing ideas for texts that will be written in Arabic and Kurdish to participate in the competition for the project's trainees, noting that the progress is going according to the plans."

He added, "Strong artistic works can't be produced without solid texts or talented writers that can build their words to convey their thoughts and messages."

It is stated that Imam Hussain Holy Shrine launched the project (1000 playwrights for children) in 2018, which aims to develop undiscovered talents.
