The Republic of Ghana Shia scholars hold an Islamic conference to develop Islamic societies

The city of Kumasi in Ghana witnessed a conference held under the slogan (The Imam, the Nation, and Development) to discuss the latest developments in the Islamic field and ideas that support societies at various levels.

According to My Liberty News Agency, the conference was held by a group of Shia clerics in the city of Kumasi in Ghana, in which they pledged to implement general educational programmes that serve the Islamic nation and the followers of Ahlu al-Bayt (PBUT).

The organisers added, "The role of religious scholars must go beyond traditional jobs and move towards developing societies at the economic, religious, and cultural levels. The statement stated how important the conference was and encouraged scholars to enhance social development."


They also appealed to the government to resume hiring Arab teachers to ensure that Islamic schools have good academic standards.
